Hi All,
There are recent postings to web sites, blogs and facebook about legislation of the energy community. Most of the information on external sites is incorrect or incomplete. The regulatory process was initiated by the Federal government in 2010. Both NAOEP and NCCOEP were started so that the energy healing community would write the regulations rather than Federal or State governments. We invite you to become involved.

If you have questions about what actions are being taken in support of the community and would like the correct information please click here for our Frequently Asked Questions.

Policy Statement: At this time we do not have research evidence of the accuracy and quality of Distance Reiki Attunements. In order to protect the public until accuracy or inaccuracy of distance attunements is determined scientifically, the certification center will not be accepting individuals for approval who have received distance attunements. Instead we invite individuals who have received distance attunements to contact a member of your local Reiki community and receive the more standard attunements. If there are members of the Reiki community that would like to fund a series of studies to confirm the reliability and validity of distance attunements, we are happy to support that effort.

Such healing often involves the removal (extraction) of spiritual entities (“intrusions”) not belonging to the client, and the restoration of the client’s own spiritual power (soul retrieval) and power connections (power animal retrieval); 5. Consultation (divination) with the helping spirits on a person’s behalf, using various methodologies to connect with the spirits, in order to gain knowledge and useful information to assist the client in resolving life issues.
